Ubisoft and Xbox have expanded their ongoing partnership with a new Xbox Console-to-PC Offer, granting digital Xbox owners of thirteen Ubisoft titles free access to the PC versions through Ubisoft Connect — no extra purchase required.
Thirteen Games, One Important Catch

The offer is strictly one-way. Owning any of these games digitally on Xbox gives you access to the PC version through Ubisoft Connect — but owning them on PC does not grant the Xbox console edition. Physical disc owners are also excluded: the programme only applies to digital Xbox console purchases.
Key point: Only digital Xbox console purchases are eligible. Physical disc owners and anyone who bought the PC version first are not covered by this offer.
How to Claim Your PC Version
If you already own any of the thirteen games on Xbox, your PC access will appear in your Ubisoft Connect library automatically. Ubisoft and Xbox are rolling out the entitlements in a progressive rollout running through 4 August 2026, so if a title hasn’t appeared yet, it’s worth waiting until that date before assuming something has gone wrong.

One thing that does not transfer: in-game currencies and consumables. Any virtual currency accumulated on the console version stays on console. Games with cross-progression support, however, will carry over save data and earned unlocks between platforms, so your progress isn’t lost when you switch to playing on PC.

The timing is deliberate. Ubisoft has faced a difficult stretch — several high-profile launches have underperformed expectations in recent years, and the publisher has been actively looking for ways to add perceived value to its existing titles and back catalogue. Offering PC versions of older Xbox games costs the company relatively little in additional development, while giving players a meaningful reason to engage with titles they already own.
For Xbox, the programme strengthens the case for buying games through its ecosystem. Extending a console purchase to PC at no extra cost — without requiring a subscription — is a practical incentive that competes with Sony and Nintendo’s exclusive arguments by making Xbox purchases stretch further. It also draws players deeper into the Ubisoft Connect launcher, which Ubisoft has been positioning as a cross-platform hub bridging its console and PC audiences.
New Purchases Get Both Versions Immediately
For anyone buying one of the thirteen titles fresh from today, the arrangement is even simpler: purchasing a digital Xbox copy grants access to both the console and the PC version immediately, with no waiting for a rollout window. The dual entitlement is automatic at checkout.
