Deadlock has 12 ranks, running from Initiate at the bottom to Eternus at the very top, with Obscurus as the uncalibrated placeholder before you finish your placement matches. Each rank is split into six subranks (I to VI), and you climb by winning roughly 1,000 points per subrank — gaining or losing around 250 points a game.
Here is the full Deadlock rank order, how the points and placement system works, and the fastest way to climb.

| 3 | Acolyte | Low |
| 4 | Sentinel | Mid |
| 5 | Mystic | Mid |
| 6 | Ritualist | Mid |

How ranked works
Before you get a rank, you play eight placement matches while sitting at Obscurus, the uncalibrated tier. Once calibrated, you land somewhere on the ladder and start earning or losing roughly 250 points per game. It takes about 1,000 points to climb one subrank, so promoting from, say, Mystic VI to Ritualist I is a 2,000-point swing across the rank boundary. Ranked updates on a weekly cadence rather than instantly after every match. At the very top, Eternus is percentile-based rather than a flat points target: Eternus I is roughly the 0th percentile of Eternus players, climbing to Eternus VI at around the 95th percentile — so the final subranks represent the genuine best players on the server.
