The best class in Baldur’s Gate 3 is the Paladin: burst damage from Divine Smite, heavy armour, healing and the game’s best dialogue presence make it strong from the first turn to the final boss. Just behind it, Sorcerer is the top caster thanks to Metamagic (twinned Haste, quickened spells), and Bard is the ultimate all-rounder — face of the party, controller and secret weapon damage dealer.
