The best Wuthering Waves characters right now are the S-tier resonators Jinhsi, Changli, Camellya and Shorekeeper, with new Aero DPS Sigrika topping the charts and Verina the undisputed best support. This tier list ranks the current roster for endgame content as of version 3.6. Wuthering Waves’ meta shifts with each patch, so this is the current snapshot.
Resonators are the characters you build teams around, and picking the right main DPS and support matters most. Here’s the full tier list.
The Wuthering Waves tier list
The current resonators ranked for endgame. S-tier are the meta leaders; A-tier are strong; B-tier are still perfectly usable.
| Tier | Resonators |
|---|---|
| S | Sigrika, Jinhsi, Changli, Camellya, Shorekeeper, Carlotta, Verina |
| A | Jiyan, Yinlin, Xiangli Yao, Zhezhi, Roccia, Cantarella |
| B | Encore, Calcharo, Danjin, Sanhua, Baizhi |
How the meta works
Wuthering Waves teams are built from a main DPS, a sub-DPS that deals damage during its Outro, and a support that heals and buffs. The best main DPS resonators — Sigrika, Jinhsi and Camellya — carry the team, while Verina is the near-universal support thanks to her healing and ATK buff. Newer accounts often lean on Jiyan as a reliable, easy-to-build main DPS. Because each patch adds new resonators and reworks Echoes, the tier list moves constantly, so always check the current version before pulling.
