GTA 6 Release Date, Editions & Price — Everything Confirmed

GTA 6 releases on 19 November 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Standard Edition costs £69.99 / $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition £89.99 / $99.99. Rockstar has not announced a PC, PS4 or Xbox One version. Everything below is confirmed by Rockstar and Take-Two — no rumours.

After one delay from an earlier 2025 target, Take-Two chairman Strauss Zelnick has publicly reaffirmed the November date and the studio has it on record in its financial filings, so this is as firm as a Rockstar date gets. Here are the key facts at a glance.

GTA 6 release date & platforms

Grand Theft Auto VI launches worldwide on 19 November 2026, exclusively on current-generation consoles. A PC release is expected eventually — as with GTA 5 — but Rockstar has not confirmed or dated one.

Editions and price

There are two editions. The Standard Edition is the full game — the entire map, story and every core mechanic. The Ultimate Edition adds bonus content on top for £20 / $20 more; it does not change the base game.

Pre-orders and pre-load

Pre-orders opened on 25 June 2026 across PlayStation and Xbox stores. Anyone who buys a digital edition can pre-load the game from 12 November 2026, ready to play the moment it unlocks. Every pre-order — Standard or Ultimate, digital or physical — placed before 20 November also includes the Vintage Vice City Pack.

What’s in the Ultimate Edition

The Ultimate Edition is aimed at players who want a head start in the open world. It bundles extra vehicles, weapon variants, cosmetics, shops, a garage and an exclusive side mission that Standard players won’t have at launch.
