The story and setting

GTA 6 is set in Leonida, a fictional US state based on Florida, rendered as one seamless open world with no loading screens — highways, countryside, rivers, swamps and wildlife all in a single map. At its heart is Vice City, a heavily modernised Miami, with six confirmed regions stretching out from it, including the swamps of Grassrivers and the mountains of Mount Kalaga. The story follows Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval, a Bonnie-and-Clyde couple pulled deeper into crime. You can switch between them almost anywhere, and their relationship is a living system that grows through shared jobs and downtime — a first for the series.
